Have found out that the Elvis Duran show I analysed yesterday is networked across New York, Miami, Philadelphia and Cleveland, which may explain why the presenter made no reference to the music that was being played, as it could potentially be different music on the different stations, and would explain the fact that the beds crashed the end of songs! On Z right now is 'your American Idol host' Ryan Seacrest, who is also 'live' on Kiis in LA at the moment. Isn't pre-recording great? The content of the show is much more entertainment based, as the obsession with celebrity is much greater in the States than in Blighty. The music is much newer, after the breakfast show that Robin rightly described as being stuck in '2002' - today there was Like I Love You and My Own Worst Enemy by Lit, which was cool.
Anyway, enough of my radio ranting. I'm off to enjoy more of this cool city!
Laters homies!
