When a negative is a positive...

Today has been a strange day. I started it feeling rather optimistic, as I headed into central to talk to my boss about the possibility of me going full time. We discussed a number of other issues, and he was very complementary about my work thus far. I was pleased with that side of things, but he left it that he'll get back to me about the hours. I got the distinct feeling however that I was going to be disappointed, because, as he rightly pointed out, there are people who are more experienced ahead of me in the queue. This left me feeling a bit depressed, but on reflection was actually a hugely positive conversation.

When i returned home, I didn't do an awful lot, just more COD4. By the way, Dave, who commented on last night's blog and questioned my decision to play COD4 over COD: World at War, I actually have both and have already finished World at War and have now moved on to 4. My dad has just bought COD2 for the PC, slightly behind the times!

Right I'd best be off, got to go to work now at the pub round the corner from me, The New Moon. I used to enjoy it, but now I hate it. Tonight is my first night back since before Xmas, I've been putting it off that much. I'm not sure why I hate it so, a combination of reasons probably. Anyway, I will discuss that and more later on, after work.

Until then,

Take Care!
